New Zealand Bloodstock are a leading thoroughbred auction sales, airfreight, insurance and finance company that has now expanded into the standardbred market providing a full suite of services to the industry.
View SiteThe Fold were approached to develop a custom Laravel CMS with full auction catalogue section for their new Standardbred website. NZB are centered around sales and the CMS admin and frontend design complement this.
Content driven design
The first step for this project was to create a design that would focus on the customer’s experience, and would tell a story about the community, rather than just the library as a service provider. Keeping their branding design intact, we also made sure that the site visitors would be able to get to the content they were after efficiently and hassle-free.
Handling content feeds
One of the key focus areas for NZB was deep integration with their existing systems. Datafeeds keep the sales catalogues up to date. During auction time vendors and buyers can keep up with live feeds updating sales and lots in real time.
Training our client
Our work wouldn’t be completed without showing our client how they can manage the site themselves, without the continuous need of designers or developers involved. We train our clients on how to use the custom interface to make sure they are able to edit and add new content to their site.
